GriefShare grief recovery seminar and support group meets at Destin United Methodist Church in Destin each Thursday at 1 p.m. starting Sept. 1. Child care is available upon request. The Emerald Coast Children’s Advocacy Center (ECCAC) presents its 6th Annual Wiggin’ Out for a Cause presented by Great American RV Superstores on Thursday, Sept. 22, 6-10 p.m. at Shoreline Church, 140 Palmetto St., Destin. With a “Prom Night of Your Dreams” theme, ladies and gentlemen come dressed accordingly in your best (or worst) prom attire. The event will be filled with wine and punch cocktails, food, fun, photo booths and live DJ music with dancing. Both men and women will receive their own personal wigs. Tickets are $90 per person. The Annual Sacred Heart Charity Golf Classic will be held Friday, Sept. 23, at Burnt Pine Golf Club. The 2nd Annual Burgers, Bourbon & Beer Festival is set for Saturday, Sept. 24, at Destin Boardwalk, featuring tasty burgers from your favorite local restaurants, delicious bourbon, refreshing beer, while benefiting the Boys and Girls Clubs of the Emerald Coast. The largest and only combined free admission to the public Home and Boat Show in Florida will be held Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 24 and 25, 10 a.m-4 p.m., at the Destin-Fort Walton Beach Convention Center. Get Tickets Now for the Second Annual BrunchFest at Seville Quarter in Downtown Pensacola Sunday, Oct. 9, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. A brunch-themed festival benefiting the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Emerald Coast, competing teams provide samples to attendees and judges to battle it out for the Best Brunch in Town. All proceeds benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Emerald Coast, a non-profit organization with clubs in Pensacola, Crestview, South Walton, Defuniak Springs, Destin and Fort Walton Beach.
